There are lots of lenses on the market that are considered portrait lenses, but the 85mm focal length is perhaps the sweet spot for portrait photographers. This focal length sits nicely in-between 50mm and 135mm offerings, and it gives photographers the ability to either capture great 3/4 length shots, or beautiful headshots. thephoblographer.com »

A couple of months ago Blazar did announce the first autofocus anamorphic Full Frame lenses. Today Sirui presented its first anamorphic AF lens at the Inter BEE 2024. These are the first images of the lens.

Tokina has discontinued production of the atx-m 85mm F1.8 FE lens. Rumor has it that this lens was actually manufactured by Viltrox. Now that the Chinese company has a good reputation, I think they no longer need the partnership with Tokina. Viltrox already sells its own 85mm lens under its own name.
