I'm Vany from Germany, specifically from the ruhr area ("Ruhrgebiet"). I was always fascinated by the large industrial heritages, that characterize the landscape. Also, I have a passion for infrared photography, so it was the only logical thing to combine the two.

In these photo’s I’ve tried to capture the beauty of staircases in abandoned places. Places like these can be very old carrying lots of history with them. The difference in architecture is great to see and I believe that each place tells it own story. boredpanda.com »
