We're told that the next Canon EOS R5 Mark II firmware update will come with new features along with the usual bug fixes. The new firmware is already in testing with various pros and will add new video and photography features updates.
The RF 200-500mm f/4L IS USM has been rumored for quite some time, and with each passing month we get very little new information on the lens. Yesterday, Canon released firmware v.1.0.1 for the Canon EOS R5 Mark II, which brough a whole bunch of bug fixes for the camera. There are still some reported bugs out there that haven't been addressed, but we don't like to dive too much into those in case they are more user error than actual issues [...] Source
Today seems to be firmware release day for the entire EOS R lineup. A lot of the updates are bug fixes and a few cameras received support for the LP-E6P. You can download firmware updates through the Camera Connect app or directly from a Canon web site.
Canon has released firmware v1. 0. 1, which addresses some of the bugs that currently present in the camera. Though not all of the bugs we have read about are addressed with this release. At the time of this post, the firmware update is available at Canon India.
