The Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 500mm f/5. 6E PF ED VR fixed focal length super-telephoto lens for Nikon FX-format digital SLR cameras.
Currently under development, the Nikkor 500mm f/5. 6 lens uses the same type of Phase Fresnel (PF) lens element used in the AF-S NIKKOR 300mm f/4E PF ED VR (pictured). The release date and recommended retail price will be provided at a later date.
