Nikon announces development of D850

Nikon has announced the development of the long-awaited replacement to its high resolution, full-frame D810: the D850. The company didn't release any actual details about the D850, though a teaser video promises an 8K time-lapse function.

Nikon says that it will be a 'formidable tool for creators who will not compromise on exceptional image quality and versatility' and that it will incorporate 'new technologies, features and performance enhancements that are a direct result of feedback from users. '
