Olympus reaffirmed their commitment to Micro Four Thirds in their press conference at Photokina today, with plans to announce new products in 2019 as part of their 100th Anniversary celebrations.
Unlike fellow MFT member, Panasonic, Olympus have not unveiled any plans to release a camera system with a larger sensor, instead choosing to continue to offer "a professional camera system boasting great image quality while still being compact and featuring light weight.

Google was recently granted a patent it filed in 2013 that details a hat with a built-in camera system able to pair with a mobile device for the purpose of ‘interactive sessions. ’ While a baseball cap in particular seems like a somewhat odd choice for a wearable, the system itself sounds fairly straight-forward as a portable studio of sorts for live broadcasting video and snapping photos. dpreview.com »
