Today was a big day in the Apple world, but here in photography land, Sony had some big announcements of their own to make – including their brand new RX10 IV. In case you are not up to speed, Sony’s RX10 line has long been an advanced ‘bridge camera’ with professional quality and features, but with a fixed zoom lens.

Intro 2017 has seen the release of some interesting cameras, but the two that have generated the most buzz, the most traffic and the most questions are Nikon's D850 and the Sony a7R III. They're both rather exotic creatures, not quite as other-worldly as the D5 and a9, but hardly the sorts of cameras we're all going to rush out and buy. dpreview.com »

We've spent some time with the new Rokinon 35mm f2. 8 for Sony E mount cameras and are liking it in many ways. Rokinon's glass has long been underrated in the industry and they're somewhat overshadowed by the likes of Sigma, Tamron and Zeiss. thephoblographer.com »

The Sony a9 is an impressive looking camera. At 20 frames per second, it's able to shoot much faster than either of the professional sports cameras from the two big DSLR makers. The Sony is also smaller and lighter than these cameras (even with a battery grip added, to get nearer to matching their battery endurance), and has autofocus coverage across a much wider region of the frame than a DSLR AF system can offer. dpreview.com »
