Tokina has announced the impending release of its new SZ 8mm F2. 8 fisheye lens for Fujifilm X and Sony E-mount APS-C camera systems. The fully-manual lens is constructed of 11 elements in eight groups, including an unspecified number of multi-coated elements.
It features a seven-blade aperture diaphragm, offers an aperture range of F2. 8 through F22 with a clickless aperture ring and has a minimum focusing distance of 10cm (4”).

Both lenses measure 60mm (2. 4”) in diameter, 52mm (2”) long and weigh 280g (9. 9). The SZ 8mm F2. 8 fisheye lens is set to start shipping on March 15, 2022. No pricing information has been made available at this time.
