Fujifilm Japan has published a notice on its website informing consumers that there could be forthcoming shortages of its three remaining 120 format color reversal slide film stocks. We still don’t know if Fujifilm will bring the Eterna Film Simulation to the other X-Trans III based cameras. There has been some hinting that the X-T2 at the very least may get it, but for now, there is no official confirmation that any other cameras will be getting it. thephoblographer.com »

We’ve been covering the increasing number of Instax emulsions from Fujifilm with a combination of caution and excitement. For as much as we all like to talk about the film renaissance that is currently going on in the world, the sad truth is that the benefits of this resurgence of interest in film have not translated over to the film companies – at least not in a big enough way to (with a few exceptions) prevent these beloved and popular film stocks from being discontinued.
