In a tweet published on March 10, Sigma CEO Kazuto Yamaki shared a bit of information that hints at what products we should most be expecting to see from Sigma in the foreseeable future. Back in December and in January Sony did register two new camera codes. Usually this means we should get an official announcement within 3-4 months. A source (thank you!) has sent me the first pictures of the new Sony 400-800mm f/6. 3-8. 0 lens in FULL SIZE. It really does look almost like a copy of the current Sony 200-600mm G lens. I was told that the 400-800mm is a little bit bigger and heavier than the 200-600mm.
