Nikon 70-180mm f2.8 First Impressions: Yes, It’s a Tamron

The Nikon 70-180mm f2. 8 being announced today is a brand new lens being made available for the first time for the Nikon Z mount. Nothing like this has ever been released before, and we totally haven't reviewed a lens like this back in 2020 because it hasn't existed previously.

We curiously wonder why Nikon would have it in their lineup with the 70-200mm f2. 8 and 70-200mm f4 lenses already available. However, at $1,249. 95, it's only a bit more pricey than a lens with curiously the same focal length, and size. .
