Some of us reading this site are millennials, Gen X, and older. So the chances are then that you've got a Flickr account. Every now and again, I go through mine and peruse the images that I've posted in the past.
Besides creative vision and understanding what you see vs what you're looking at, there are two other big tools that photographers need to make more compelling images. Believe it or not, part of this is technical.
DJI’s Mini series gave me my start as a drone pilot, teaching me the basics of flight, safety, and imaging from above. Yet its budget-friendly price helped ease the flying anxiety, even when I experienced a dropped connection and a crash from a low height.
The 70-200mm is workhorse focal length, but these workhorses tend to be as heavy as they are versatile. The Panasonic Leica 35-100mm f2. 8 DG Vario-Elmarit Power OIS, however, proves what’s possible with a Micro Four Thirds sensor.
There are updates to the Phoblographer's Panasonic GH6 review, which we did back in 2022. With it now being 2024, we're kind of scratching our head about this camera. It still is very capable, but we truly expected more from it over time.
