The Olympic Games serve as a crucial testing ground for upcoming camera gear from leading brands. Most of them seize this opportunity to subject their upcoming equipment to the rigorous demands of professional use.
In my opinion, RF lenses from Canon are some of the most beautiful mirrorless lenses ever made. Okay, so a few of them were heavier than we'd like them to be. But they are still wonderful to hold, use, and provide stellar image results.
Nikon made quite the splash last month with the announcement of its Z9 flagship mirrorless camera, and photographers’ eyes are undoubtedly turning to Canon to see what kind of camera the rival brand will answer with.
Sony, along with pretty much every manufacturer in the imaging space, is known to be quite secretive about products that have yet to be officially announced. But the company may have just leaked the a7 IV mirrorless camera’s main specs through public YouTube keywords.
