As we published last month, the long-rumored Canon RF 200-500mm f/4L IS USM appears to have been shelved. In its place, sources tell us, Canon is working on a new super-telephoto: the RF 300-600mm f/5.
The Canon EOS R6 Mark III will be the next full-frame camera from Canon, and it will be a massive launch for Canon. Things have been fairly quiet about the camera for the last couple of months, but it was rumored to be announced later this month.
I’ve been using the Canon EOS R5 Mark II since launch, and I love this camera. With firmware 1. 0. 0, autofocus performance was incredible—snappy, confident, and accurate. It tracked subjects better than anything I’ve used before.

One of the most requested lenses from Canon shooters has been a fast ultra wide angle prime, especially for astrophotography. The sort of lens has been long rumored, and we have seen plenty of optical designs in the past.
