If you've become a street photographer of some sort, then I'm pretty sure that you're doing this and thinking that social media is the pinnacle of your photography career. But it really isn't. Beyond that, you can network to have people buy your prints, you can branch out into other genres, and you can even have your work in galleries.
If you take someone's portrait, it's very well understood that you're collaborating with that person. Today's content creators often just shoot at 20 frames a second while a model moves in front of there camera.
Sony is one of the few companies that stood against the DSLR tide and switched to mirrorless early on in the race. That, in fact, bodes well for the manufacturer, with Sony easily being ahead of the game.
Ricoh Imaging had been quiet about the future of the GR series since the launches of GR III and GR IIIx in 2019 and 2021, respectively. While we did see reports of the GR Monochrome camera or patents for wide-angle lenses, we, however, didn't hear much about the highly anticipated Ricoh GR IV.
There's a problem with street photography that I think that many don't understand: it's not necessarily photojournalism. However, because of the lack of standardization in the field, it results in lots of different ethical conflicts.
When one talks about street photography, the first few images that come to one's mind are a place that is crowded with people. The Dutch angle or the slow shutter is a technique that has really helped people to tell a story from the streets.
